Mission Statement:

We recognize every family has a unique family culture. We believe culture is about language, habits, preferences, life, race, and ethnicity. We recognize that family culture changes over time. Every family has a unique family culture.

As parents/caregivers, of children/youth, that have severe emotional, behavioral, and other disabilities. We understand the complex needs in making decisions under very stressful conditions. We are working towards nurturing self, to avoid burnout.

We are united in providing support, and resources by sharing experiences, and knowledge, and resources from the communities where we as families live. We seek to provide for ourselves and each other, understanding, empathy, and compassion.

As parents/caregivers who have filed or are considering filing At Risk Youth Petitions (ARY), or Child in Need of Services Petitions (CHINS), and/or are involved in The Inter-Agency Staffing Team (IST), We support one another in understanding the different services, how the process works, and to provide resource information around these programs, and/or child serving systems. No matter at what place we find ourselves in.

We are here to help families develop and strengthen wraparound teams. To provide resources, and ideas to help build natural support connections that will help the family learn to preserve energy and become resilient.

We support and work towards building family involvement in service and policy planning at all levels of the child/youth serving systems. Bringing family voice, needs, and ideas forward, supporting the King County System of Care principles as presented to the community.

To bring about training opportunities that will help educate families about how child/youth serving systems work, building family/professional partnerships, working together as equals, for our children/youth, family, and professional needs.
